Nominees for the 13th Annual Online Film & Television Association’s Film awards have been announced. Best Picture is comprised of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Dark Knight, Milk, Slumdog Millionaire and WALL-E. The winners will be announced on Sunday, February 8, 2009. The 12th Annual Online Film & Television Association awards for excellence in television programming were announced Sunday, August 10, 2008. With 8 awards each, hour-long comedy Pushing Daisies and miniseries John Adams ties for most awards for the 2007-08 season. Following behind was Drama series winner Mad Men with seven awards. With 18 nominations, hour-long comedy Pushing Daisies earned the most nominations for a series. Miniseries John Adams and drama series Mad Men followed behind with 16 nominations each. The 11th Annual OFTA winners for television were announced today, Sunday, August 12, 2007. Movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was the year’s top winner with 8 awards. The Office was second with 5 awards. See the Awards section of our site for more information on this year’s nominees.

The 11th Annual Online Film & Television Association awards for excellence in television were announced Sunday, July 29, 2007. Movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was the year’s top nominee with 14 mentions. Heroes, The Sopranos and Ugly Betty each received 11 nominations. The winners have been announced for the 11th Annual Online Film & Television Association’s Film Awards.

The winners were announced Sunday, February 10, 2007. The year’s top awards winners were Dreamgirls with six prizes, followed very closely by Children of Men with five, Pan’s Labyrinth with four, and The Queen, The Departed and Little Miss Sunshine with three each.

Also announced Sunday were this year’s inductees into the OFTA Film Hall of Fame. This year’s inductees skew older, recognizing the diverse and rich history of the film industry.

It’s once again time to recognize the best achievements of 2006 with the Online Film & Television Association’s 11th Annual Film Awards.

Dreamgirls was the big vote-getter in this year’s award receiving a staggering 21 nominations, tying the records set and matched by fellow musicals Chicago and Moulin Rouge. Even if the film only received one nomination in each of the Original Song and Adapted Song categories, it would still have 16 nominations, four more than its nearest competitor. Martin Scorsese’s The Departed came in second with twelve nods followed closely by Children of Men with 11. Each of these films was selected as a nominee for Best Picture of the year. Alongside these pictures is the four-place nomination total of The Queen with 10 and United 93 which also received nominations for editing and directing.

The 10th Annual Online Film & Television Association awards for excellence in television were announced Tuesday, August 29, 2006. Miniseries Bleak House was the year’s big winner with five trophies.
